About me
Luigi Barbieri, a filmaker born in Naples in 1972, studied "Classics" before moving to London to study filmmaking.

He gained recognition for his various shorts, shown at the Institute of Contemporary Art of London and Soho House, and co-funded "Latino Academy Pictures" in 2001. Luigi won the Best Italian Film award at the "Corto in Bra" International festival in Bra (Italy) for his short 35mm film "Spleen" and won second prize at Obiettivo Corto in Sant'Agata Dei Goti for "Gli occhi di Cristo". He also worked on the Italian feature film "Nauta" as second unit director and directed two commercial ads for the Italian government.

Luigi worked as a freelance blog writer, editor, and script editor for documentaries, pop videos, and independent productions, and wrote and directed several shorts, including "Memories", "Clinical Abduction", "The Land of the Apples", "Another Saturda Night of the Lyric of Concidences", and "Angels".
